VISA INFORMATION

For detailed information on visas, please read this document.

Further details are available by contacting the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate or by visiting http://www.thaiembassy.org, www.mfa.go.th, or http://nai.immigration.go.th.

The following information and documentation will be required to assist you in obtaining a visa upon arrival at Bangkok airport.

  • Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
  • The applicant must produce instrument of means of transport (full paid ticket) which is usable within 15 days since the date of entry.
  • One recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) taken within the past six months
  • The applicant must possess instrument of means of living expenses 10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family accordingly.
  • Visa application form completely filled out

Please refer to the Summary of Countries entitled for Visa Exemption and Visa on Arrival below to verify if you need a visa to enter Thailand.

To facilitate the immigration procedure, it is necessary that each participant present a valid passport, the personalized invitation letter (see below), medical certificate (if required, see list of countries which are declared yellow fever infected areas here (page 3) and arrival card M6 which will be distributed to all passengers before landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok to immigration officer upon his or her arrival.

To obtain a visa invitation letter, participants are requested to register online and forward the following documents to the contact persons in Thailand:

  • a copy of the confirmation of registration
  • name of participants/ nationality
  • organization
  • contact number
  • copies of passport (to assist the authorities concerned to identify person)
