BROADCAST MEDIA   PHOTOGRAPHERS

 

TV / Radio / Film Production company accreditation

Broadcast Stations
Return the Media Accreditation Form together with an official letter from the broadcast station confirming you will be covering AMERICAS 2005 on its behalf.

Hired by an Exhibitor
The exhibiting company will register you as Exhibitor Personnel and issue the necessary passes.

Freelance
The ITU will only accredit freelancers officially mandated by a broadcast station. Please register as a visitor should you wish to attend the Exhibition but are not eligible for ITU media accreditation.

 

Technical Support Crew accreditation

Broadcast Stations
Names of all team members should be listed on the official letter of support and the Media Accreditation Form.

Hired by an Exhibitor
The exhibiting company will register you as Exhibitor Personnel and issue the necessary passes.

Freelance
Those of you not accompanying an accredited journalist can attend the Exhibition from 3 October as visitors.

 

TV / Radio / Film Production Companies: Access prior to the event

Broadcast stations
The ITU TELECOM Media Relations Service will provide you with the necessary passes.

Hired by an Exhibitor
The exhibiting company will provide you with the necessary passes.

Freelance
The ITU TELECOM Media Relations Service will provide only ITU accredited media with the necessary passes.

 

TV / Radio / Film Production Companies: Restrictions/Access during the event

Broadcast stations
No restrictions for ITU accredited Media.
Press badges can be collected from the Accreditation Desk as of Friday, 30 September 2005.

Hired by an Exhibitor
Prior written permission must be obtained from other stands/individuals before filming. Prior authorization to film must also be sought from the Deputy Executive Manager of ITU TELECOM. The exhibiting company should provide you with the necessary badge.

Freelance
No restrictions for ITU accredited media. For all other freelancers: 

  • Prior written permission must be obtained from the stands/individuals before filming.
  • Prior authorization to film must also be sought from the Deputy Executive Manager of ITU TELECOM.

Visitor Registration will provide you with a pass to access the Exhibition only.

 

Photographer accreditation

Publications
Return the accreditation form together with an official letter of support from the Editor of the publication for which coverage will be made. If accompanying a journalist, ensure your name is also listed on the media accreditation form and letter of support.

Hired by an Exhibitor
The exhibiting company will register you as Exhibitor Personnel and issue the necessary passes.

Freelance
Freelance photographers should submit a copy of their international/national press card or an official letter of support from the Editor of the publication for which coverage will be made. Those not accredited with the ITU can attend the Exhibition from 3 October as visitors.
