| Q |
What
is the cost of exhibition
space? |
| A |
630
Swiss francs/m2 for indoor (raw) space
280 Swiss francs/m2 for open-air (raw) space |
|

|
| Q |
What
is the difference
between indoor and outdoor exhibition space? |
| A |
Open
air space is particularly suited to
exhibitors who need to erect antennas or
avail themselves of satellite links for
demonstration purposes. Because outdoor
space is limited, priority will be given to
exhibitors who also have indoor space
booked. |
|

|
| Q |
How
does the ITU allocate
exhibition space? |
| A |
Once
the deadline for applications is reached,
the ITU will draw up a floorplan based on
the most appropriate placement of requests
received from exhibitors, taking into
consideration the need to accommodate
multi-level stands. Intention to build
stands comprising more than one level must
be indicated on the initial application
form. Offers of space will be dispatched to
interested parties in June 2001 together
with an Exhibition Space Contract which
shall legally bind the ITU and the Applicant
upon signature of the latter. Exhibitors
will then have one month to confirm their
request to exhibit on receipt of the
contract. |

|
| Q |
Who
can Exhibit? |

training organizations, publishers,
broadcasters and governmental authorities
from all sectors of the infocommunications
industry. |

|
| Q |
Are
there different exhibition categories? |
| A |
Yes,
you can exhibit independently, or, if you
prefer, as part of a national pavilion. If
you like, you can also co-exhibit in
partnership with other exhibitors.
Publishers are accorded their own special
area within the exhibition, and are subject
to different requirements and regulations
from other exhibitors. |
